A taste of the Ashridge year

| January 27, 2015

It’s that quiet time of year again where we’re thinking about the coming year and reflecting on last year, which was really busy and productive. The harvest this year was long and the press and the apple pickers were operating on double shifts to deal with all the apples. We’ve made even more cider than last year and we’re looking forward to introducing you to some new drinks this year, so all is set for some good sales. We’re excited to be planting a new orchard this year too - just as well, since a few old trees have gone over in the recent wind.

This last year our sales increased significantly, we’ve won several Gold Awards and we produced more organic sparkling soft drinks than ever before. So, together we are definitely doing something right, and hopefully our customers out there are happy with our drinks. Our kegged ciders are making their mark now and we’re building a significant presence in the ‘on trade’ market

If you know us you will have seen that we have recently had a re-branding. All our bottled drinks now have a consistent ‘look’ across the range. We asked Buddy Creative to help us bring all our drinks into one ‘family’. We love what they came up with. Buddy pushed us to go that extra mile and move away from the more traditional cider design landscape which is awash with rustic fruit imagery and rolling south-western landscapes. We like those, but we’re thinking now about what you’d like to see on your shelves and tables. We have had a hugely positive response to our more contemporary look, and it has led to many new enquiries about stocking our drinks already.

If you are one of our customers it’s that time of year when we usually let you know that there will be an increase in our current prices for some of our drinks –  effective from 1st March 2015.  The good news is that the soft drinksstay the same price and so do our ‘Table Ciders’ (33cl). We’ll email the price list to you soon.

Thanks for your continued support of Ashridge Cider, which we really value, and hope you have a healthy and prosperous 2015.
